God's people shall be delivered, not only from evil, but from the fear of it. Christ, the great shepherd, shall take care of his flock. There shall be great peace and quiet under his government. The Messiah would be just and righteous in all His government. The Holy Spirit in all his gifts and graces, shall rest upon Him, he shall have the fullness of the Godhead dwelling in him, and so shall we. We are individually a line stemming from Him through salvation. According to the above passage, The Messiah here is called a Rod, which is straight and not crooked, which is what we are called to be, and a Branch. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist. His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. Isaiah 11:1-5 The Reign of Jesse's Offspring There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. This is not a detailed study of this topic, but I pray I leave you such ardent desire to know more that you will go even deeper than what I have shared. May God give us more revelation as we dig deep into these seven spirits. I - 5 and have made this a daily prayer for my life and my family to see them manifest in our lives. I have always desired to know more about the Seven Spirits of God from Isaiah 11.
